2024 in Review

I almost didn’t write this. This was not a good year.

The vast majority of the things I tried failed miserably. I was the sickest I’ve ever been in June which lead me to cancel a major event. Plus many, many other similar things.

The Contentful layoff started a horrible series of dominoes that I’m still dealing with right now. Whoever makes hiring and layoff decisions will never know the real consequences of events like this.

As I said, even if the majority of the year didn’t work out, (thankfully!) there were some positives:

• I now have some wonderful new friends (🇮🇳 🇭🇺) that I hope will stay in my life for many years to come.
• I’m extremely lucky to have found Unleash.
• CityJS London was fun.
• I had 5 days of absolute bliss in Oslo.
• Something new and exciting is planned for January 2025, and I want to believe it’s a sign of the tide turning.

To my old friends who have supported me, and keep supporting me, you know who you are. Thank you, I’m forever grateful.
